Leadership

Tyndale Christian School is led by educators who are deeply committed to the school’s Christian mission, educational vision, and the careful formation of students.

They serve the school community with humility, clarity of purpose, and a shared commitment to Christ-centered education.

Head of School

Mrs. Kimberly Johns

Mrs. Johns brings more than 25 years of experience in Christian education and school leadership to her role at Tyndale Christian School. Deeply rooted in Arlington, where she has spent much of her life, she leads the school with both professional expertise and a strong sense of place.

Her work is shaped by a deep commitment to classical education and the Charlotte Mason educational philosophy, informed by years of experience teaching and leading. At Tyndale, she mentors teachers, supports thoughtful instruction, and helps cultivate a school culture ordered toward wisdom, virtue, and faithful learning.

Mrs. Johns serves the Tyndale community with a clear focus on student formation, academic integrity, and partnership with families.

Mrs. Johns holds a BA in Economics from The College of William and Mary and a Master’s in Classical Education from Templeton Honors College, Eastern University.

Leadership in Service

  • Leadership at Tyndale

Leadership at Tyndale is closely connected to the life of the classroom. School leaders work alongside faculty to support teaching, guide curriculum, and attend carefully to the formation of students.

Rather than operating apart from daily school life, leadership at Tyndale is collaborative and service-oriented, shaped by the school’s Christian convictions and educational vision. This approach fosters continuity, trust, and a shared sense of purpose across the school community.

  • Serving the School Community

Tyndale’s leaders are a visible and accessible presence in the daily life of the school. Leadership is relational and attentive, guided by a commitment to wise stewardship and faithful service.

This presence reflects the school’s belief that education flourishes within a community shaped by trust, clarity, and shared responsibility.
